Song chords and chord charts

A chord recognition model listens to the full mix, not a separated part, and names the chord at each moment. GrooveSheet then lines those chords up with the beat and writes them over the bars as a chart, with the key detected.

The chord chart as PDF, ready to print, and as MusicXML for MuseScore, Sibelius, Dorico or Finale. A chord chart has no MIDI and no Guitar Pro file: it is chord symbols, not notes.

Treat a chart as a strong first draft. The model names plain major and minor chords most reliably; extended and passing chords are simplified or occasionally missed, so check by ear and edit the MusicXML where you hear something different.
