GrooveSheet makes stems, sheet music and MIDI from recorded music with AI. The songs belong to their songwriters, artists, publishers and labels, and we take their rights seriously.

If you own a song in our library

If you hold the rights to a song on GrooveSheet and want it removed, email groovesheet@gmail.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

• the song, and the GrooveSheet page link (for example https://www.groovesheet.net/explore/...);
• your name, company and contact details, and your relationship to the rights (owner, or authorised to act for the owner);
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
• your physical or electronic signature.

We remove the song promptly, usually within two business days, and confirm by email. Every song page also has a Report button for quick reports.

If your upload was removed by mistake

If you uploaded audio you have the rights to and it was removed after a notice, reply to our email with a counter-notice: your contact details, the removed item, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. We forward counter-notices to the person who sent the original notice.

If you find GrooveSheet files shared without permission

Library files are for personal practice and study only (see section 8 of our Terms). If you see GrooveSheet stems, sheet music or MIDI being sold, re-uploaded or passed off as someone's own work, send us the link at groovesheet@gmail.com. Every file carries a download ID, so we can find the account it came from and act on it.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of people who repeatedly upload or share material they do not have the rights to.
